It's easy to quickly freeze your card. You can do so through the Tims Financial tile in the Tim Hortons app. It’s important to note that freezing your cards freezes both your virtual and your physical cards.
To freeze your Tims Mastercard:
- Open the Tims Financial tile within the Tim Hortons app.
- Go to your Tims Mastercard landing page, by clicking on Credit Card.
- On the Credit Card landing page, click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner.
- Scroll down and click on Freeze Card toggle.
NOTE: Once you’re ready to unfreeze any of your cards, you can follow the same steps listed above to click on the same snowflake icon to unfreeze your card.
