If you’re using your Tims Mastercard in a Tim Hortons restaurant, you’ll automatically earn 5 points per $1. To earn the regular 10 points per $1 spent at Tim Hortons, you also need to scan for Tims Rewards.
Here are a few ways to makes sure you earn all your points:
- Use Scan & Pay: Add your Tims Mastercard as your default payment method on the Tim Hortons app, turn on the Scan & Pay feature, and use Scan & Pay at the counter. That way you’ll automatically earn 15 points for every $1 you spend in the restaurant—with just one scan!
- Order ahead on the app: Add your Tims Mastercard as your default payment method on the Tims Hortons app and order ahead. That way you’ll automatically earn 15 points for every $1 you spend in the restaurant—just by placing your order.
- Scan separately for Tims Rewards: If you’re not using Scan & Pay or ordering ahead on the app, make sure to pay with your Tims Mastercard to earn 5 points per $1 and then scan for Tims Rewards to earn 10 points per $1.
