How is my minimum payment balance calculated?

For Canadian cardholders (excluding Quebec):

The minimum payment on your credit card statement is $10 or your entire balance – whichever is lower. Any amount that exceeds your credit limit will not be included in the calculation of your minimum payment.

Here’s how your minimum payment is calculated:

  • $10 or the current balance (whichever is lower)
  • Plus, all outstanding interest charges and other fees (like cash advance fees)
  • Plus, any amount that is overdue

Default interest rates for Newfoundland (NFLD) customers are aligned with recent regulatory changes in NFLD.
